Description:
Local Motion
Vintage, 1980s era Local Motion Surfboard. The board’s
tail section is a single-wing, swallow-tail with glassed-on quad-fins (see photos). The wings are located 11 inches
up from the tail, and the swallow-tail tips are 4 inches apart. The glass-on fins are in solid condition. The
deck and bottom is completely airbrushed. Starting at the nose into the tail, the air-sprayed fade pattern has the following
colors: pink, purple, blue, white. Each side of the board has three (3) Local Motion laminates (see photos). The
board is completely watertight. The board has a few old repairs (all minor). A few shatters and some pressure
marks from normal use. The boards original leash plug was ripped from the board, but is now repaired. The repair
is obvious (see photos of tail). The board is numbered, “L284.” Overall, this board is in good looking
shape. The colors are bright and beautiful. The board is void of the following issues: no de lamination,
no soft spots, completely watertight, no sun tanning, no water marks, never buckled, and no twisting. SPECIFICATIONS:
